“Being productive and being busy are not necessarily the same thing. Doing things won’t create your success; doing the right things will.” – Jeff Olson, “The Slight Edge”
All Amy S. wanted in life was more time. Time with her husband. Time with her three daughters. Time to vacation. And, time to relax. Unfortunately, between her job as a nurse practitioner and her husband having limited vacation availability, time was an unattainable luxury for Amy. “Before building my Isagenix business, we went several years without vacationing or taking days off from work,” Amy recalls.
She focused her energy into daily mini-vacations. Things like working out at Cathy Savage Fitness became her “free” time. “Active activities were my mini-vacations, because I was bettering myself outside of work; but as much as I enjoyed it, it still wasn’t time with my family,” she says.
A Time to Share
After seeing success with the 30-Day Cleansing and Fat Burning System, Amy decided it was time to share these life-changing products with others to help them reach their goals. “When I started, my mission with Isagenix was to change lives, and my goal was to have the freedom to spend more time with my family,” she remembers.
It wasn’t easy, and she had to sacrifice even more time to accomplish her goal. Amy says, “I was still putting in long hours at the office, taking care of three baby girls, and trying to build my Isagenix business at the same time.” Her determination, consistency, and mission paid off and she was eventually able to share Isagenix full time.
Time to Give Back
“One of the best days of my life was a Friday. Since I was working from home full time, and we didn’t need to take the girls to day care, my husband did something he wasn’t able to do for years—he took the day off from work,” says Amy. We spent the whole day in our backyard laughing and running through the sprinklers. That was the day I reached my goal and achieved time freedom. It was also the day I decided my new goal would be to help other families create time freedom in order to enjoy moments like that.”
Amy and her husband were eventually able to afford a house big enough for their family of five. Amy exclaims, “After we bought the house, and my husband started his Isagenix business, we were able to purchase a lake cabin to enjoy actual family vacations!”
Amy worked very hard to accomplish her goal of time freedom and now looks forward to giving back. “Other families deserve to spend quality time together,” she states, “and I feel so blessed to be able to guide my friends and family toward a healthier lifestyle and accomplish their goals in life—it’s time well spent!”
